Description: Babe Ruth signed 1947 American Legion promotional photo (EX). 5"x6.5" b&w photo of Ruth in Yankees uniform swinging. Ruth signed the photo in bold black ink rating 9/10 out of 10. Photo was issued at an American Legion Junior Baseball banquet held on September 12, 1947, at the Hotel Statler in Boston, Massachusetts. Ruth was a guest speaker at the event.and signed copies of the photo for attendees.
