Exhibits minor age toning with typical mailing folds and light scattered wear. Adams was a noted American columnist in the early portion of the 20th Century and in 1910s penned "Baseballs' Sad Lexicon." The poem immortalized Chicago Cubs infielders Tinker, Evers, and Chance and remains steeped in American folklore.
