Description: 1952 Sporting News "Dope Book" store display sign and related publication (EX-EX/MT) 10.5"x13.5" Period store display sign for the 1952 edition of the yearly Sporting News Dope Book which depicted Yogi Berra as cover subject. Exhibits surface toning which is generally even (slightly more pronounced strip down right edge) and light corner/edge wear. Small mounting hole at top border and a very few scattered blemishes. Overall, the sign retains fine display qualities and is the first we have encountered offering this popular series. Includes matching copy of guidebook: Sign EX, Book EX/MTFinal Bid: $242.00
