Description: Lot of (2) scarce 1930s Philadelphia Athletics related paper items (VG-EX). Includes: September 23, 1931 "Rotary's Greetings to our Connie and His World's Champions" die cut elephant program. The interior lists "Connie's Boys" and the speakers (Connie Mack and Ira Thomas). Marked "E.A. Wright Company" on the back. Exhibits wear mainly to the end of the elephant's trunk where it is creased and missing a part of the cover (VG-VG/EX). Also includes a 3.5"x5" Canadian Pacific Steamship Line "1934 Christmas Eve" menu which lists the baseball related guests which include Mr. and Mrs. J. Foxx, Mr. McGillicuddy, Mr. and Mrs. E.McNair, Mr. and Mrs. E.Averill, Mr. C.Gehringer, and others (VG/EX-EX).Final Bid: $184.00
