Description: Vintage unused Goldsmith "Official League Ball" c.1920 (EX/MT, ink notation). Original black and gold stitched ball featuring strong GoldSmith logo stamping and "Official League Ball - Guaranteed 18 Innings" stamping. Part of a period paper label is affixed to the sweet spot which reads "Hand Made" (the "Ha" in Hand is missing from the label). To the left of the label is an ink notation which reads "BUD 1919" (does not appear to be have written in the period). Ball displays extremely well and the stampings can be fully displayed without seeing the ink notation. Ball is unused and exhibits light surface wear: EX/MT with note to the ink notation.Final Bid: $411.00
