Description: Original painting by Richard Merkin titled "Marie L'Overture" c.1959 (EX/MT-NM). 19.5"x30.5" painting on canvas featuring a female baseball player at the front and male player in the background. Players are wearing jerseys that has a skull and cross bones on the front and "P.P." initials on the hat and sleeve. In the background are palm trees and a wall that is decorated with signs which read "BIERE" and "Bon Jour!". Painting is signed by Merkin at the center of the bottom.
