Description: Original 1934 Lou Gehrig sliding into home plate press photo (EX). 7"x9" photo depicting Gehrig sliding into home plate and Gordie Hinkle tagging him out. The back is stamped "Photo by Globe Photographer" and dated June 7, 1934. A period ink inscription describing the play and identifying the players is on the front.
