Description: Large New York Mets team flag from Shea Stadium c.1986 (EX). Large 8 foot long banner representing the New York Mets once flew among the team flags that lined the top of Shea Stadium. Blue nylon flag features "New York" stitched on both sides in orange lettering. Flag shows some soiling and usage wear. A letter of provenance accompanies from a former Shea Stadium operations employee who received it from the Mets after the 1986 World Championship season: EX
