Description: Mickey Mantle professional model Adirondack bat c.1968-69 (EX). 35" Adirondack 302 Mantle Type 288C model bat weighing 33.8 ounces. On the knob end, the model #288C is stamped and there is a 4 written in black marker. Although unclear, it appears that 7 (Mantle's uniform #) was originally on the knob, and later crossed out creating what appears to now be a 4. Bat exhibits light usage wear including rack marks and a few ball marks. The stampings remain strong overall, but the "M" in Mantle and the "E" in Type on the barrell stamping are partly worn away.
