Description: Umpire Bill McKinley single signed baseball attributed to the 1952 World Series (EX). Official W.Harridge AL ball exhibiting moderate use is signed across the sweet spot, "Bill McKinley A.L. Umpire" in period blue ink. The top panel has also been inscribed by McKinley, "1952 World Series Yankees 4 Dodgers 3" in identical period blue ink. The baseball originated from the personal collection of McKinley who served as one of the umpires during the 1952 World Series. Based on use characteristics and direct provenance, it is very likely that the offered ball was in fact used during the '52 World Series. Includes a full LOA from JSA: EXFinal Bid: $303.00
