Description: Babe Ruth single-signed baseball. Reach W.Harridge AL ball (c.1931-34) signed by Ruth in ink on the sweet spot. Very light enhancements/tracings are evident on the signature, which were done in the period. Although the ball is heavily toned and shellacked, the signature remains clearly visible and has an appearance rating 8 out of 10. Incl. the original Reach ball box (missing a flap, VG). Incl. a letter of provenace from the consignor, who was given the ball in 1935 by Babe Ruth himself; and a LOA from Hunt Auctions, Inc.: VG/EX-EXFinal Bid: $1,981.00
