Description: Lot of (2) fan tribute pieces to Willie Mays - one autographed (Sig. NM, Pieces FR and EX) Includes 12"x18" paper which has an "Ode to Willie Mays" poem attached. Notation along the bottom relays that it was given to Mays in 1982 by a first grade teacher in New Jersey. Signed by Mays in marker rating 8 out of 10. Piece has wear including creases, wrinkles, small tear, and missing corner; handmade thank you card to Mays which has a handwritten letter inside related to an appearance he made. Signed on the inside by many of those who attended. Mild wear. Includes certificate of provenance from the Willie Mays Collection: Sig. NM, Pieces FR and EX
