Description: 1955 Willie Mays "Russworm Award" from National Newspaper Publishers Association (EX-EX/MT) Wooden plaque (12.5"x10.25") presented to Willie Mays with his name printed on at the center. Dated March 14, 1955 and given "in recognition of outstanding achievement…and in tribute for upholding those highest traditions considered as the ideals of the American Way of Life." Touch of very minor wear. Includes certificate of provenance from the Willie Mays Collection: EX-EX/MT ($200-$400)
