Description: 1991 Negro League Legends postcards near complete set (83 of 100) - all autographed (105 total signatures) (Sigs. VG-NM, Cards FR-EX/MT) Impressive collection of signed postcards are all from the same serial numbered set (686/10,000) and represent (83) of the (100) issued (the lot also includes a complete unsigned set which is shrink wrapped as issued). Each has been autographed by the subject and in some cases there are group photo or team postcards which have multiple signatures. A sampling of the single signed postcards include Buck Leonard (9 different), Monte Irvin, Wilmer Fields, Double Duty Radcliffe (2 different), Art Pennington (2 different), Edsall Walker, Bobby Robinson, Lefty Mathis, Max Manning, Sam Jethroe, Bubba Hyde, Buster Haywood (2 different), Stanley Glenn, Mahlon Duckett, Lou Dials (hwy?), Piper Davis, Jimmie Crutchfield, Bill Cash, and Gene Benson. A total of (13) are signed by (2) or more players including Leon Day and Max Manning; Buck Leonard and Leon Day (2 different); Leon Day and Al Wilmore, Double Duty Radcliffe, Bubba Hyde, and Josh Johnson; Monte Irvin, Charlie Biot, and Max Manning; Wilmer Harris, Stan Glenn, Mahlon Duckett, Gene Benson, and Bill Cash; Double Duty Radcliffe, Cowan Hyde, and Lefty Mathis, Double Duty Radcliffe and Art Pennington, and Buck Leonard, Monte Irvin, Wilmer Fields, and Bill Cash.
