Description: Willie Mays autographed Hagerstown Suns jersey from 2004 ceremony honoring his baseball debut (Sig. NM, Jersey EX) Hagerstown Suns jersey has "Mays" nameplate on the back with number "24" below. He has signed the jersey in silver marker rating 8 out of 10. It was presented to him during an August 9, 2004 ceremony held in Hagerstown, MD (related articles and an image of Mays holding the jersey can be found online). Mays had made his professional debut with the Trenton Giants in a game against Hagerstown played in June 24, 1950. The Suns retired his number (at the 2004 ceremony) to mark to occassion. Wilson and size (50) tags in the collar and the jersey shows some light storage and wash wear. Includes certificate of provenance from the Willie Mays Collection: Sig NM, Jersey EX ($500-$1,000)
