Description: c.1912 Worcester Academy scrapbook with great sports content (GD-EX) Period oversized (12.5"x17") scrapbook with has an impressed "Worcester Academy" crest on the front cover along with the name "Paul F. Berger." It appears to largely related to the c.1912 time period and there is some fantastic sports related material throughout. Some pieces worthy of mention include a large 8"x14" photo captioned "United Basket-Ball League" and showing players from different teams (one of which has "Red Sox" across their jerseys); 1912 Boston Athletic Association tournament program with Tris Speaker pictured inside; many pictures/similar pieces showing athletes including runners, football, hockey, and baseball; newspaper and other publication clippings; portions of scorecards; passes to games/events; some material related to other schools; non-sports related ephemera and photos; and some other pieces.
