Description: Rare "Rolling Gym Stand" salesman sample gymnasium bleachers - wonderful display piece (EX). Wood and metal bleachers remain fully functional and represent a shrunken down version of the popular roll out bleachers used in old gymnasiums. They would have been utilized by a traveling salesman to demonstrate their functionality and ease of use. When compacted, the bleachers and surrounding wood (panels on front and bottom) stand approx. 2-feet tall with 39.5"x22.5" footprint. The front panel folds down, and when bleachers are extended the base expands to 39.5"x45". There is a "Wayne Rolling Gymstand, Wayne Iron Works, Wayne, P.A." metal plate affixed. Mild age and storage related wear with a very nice naturally aged surface throughout. A fantastic display piece, and the first of its type we have seen: EXFinal Bid: $259.00
