Description: Bill Walton 1972 Naismith Most Outstanding College Basketball Player award plaque (EX/MT). One of two issued (one to the player and one to the university), this significant 13"x16" wooden plaque was presented in recognition of having been named as the Most Outstanding College Basketball Player by the United Press International. The plaque is titled to Bill Walton, and he remains as one of only two players to be a 3-time winner of the award. Minor surface wear.
