Description: c.1974-75 Cleveland Indians professional model road/alternate jersey (number 42 on back) (VG-EX, see description) Red jersey is style introduced in 1974 and it would be utilized until 1976 however there is no evidence of a 1976 patch having been on the right sleeve. "Indians" team name across the front is all original and the current "Andersen 42" on back is a team done replacement from the period. Larry Andersen joined the Indians in 1975 and was issued the number (42) so we can assume that after initially being issued to a different player in 1974 it was modified for Andersen the following year. Wilson tag in the collar notes size (46). Use and wash wear and there are visible outlines on the back from the previously applied letters/number: VG-EX ($300-$500)
