Description: 1999 David Stern signed handwritten note to Bill Walton (EX/MT). 1999 typed letter from the UCLA Alumni Association to David Stern informing him that Walton was not chosen as Alumnus Of The Year despite his letter of support for Walton. Stern circled the text: "Certainly Mr. Walton's astonishing achievements in sports assure the fact that his recognition will come" and then wrote "Bill - It's only a matter of time! Best - David" in black ink. Signature rates 8/9 out of 10. Walton's facsimile signature is stamped on the letter. Includes certificate of provenance from Walton Family: EX/MT
