Description: 11/13/2006 Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial groundbreaking shovel with related items (VG/EX-NM). 58.5" shovel with "Washington, D.C. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Ceremonial Ground Breaking" placard on the handle. Text is very faded, and the shovel has some scattered scratches and surface wear. Includes size 2X t-shirt from the event, program, (7) DVDs, "In The Spirit Of Martin" hardcover book, newspaper articles covering the event and picturing Walton there, letter relating to the shovel being given to Walton and thanking him for his participation, and certificate of provenance from Walton Family: VG/EX-NM ($400-$600)
