Description: Lot of (4) Amos Alonzo Stagg Jr. signed handwritten letters from 1972-1981 (VG/EX-EX/MT). Includes a 1-page letter (front and back) and a lengthy 7-page letter (front and back of all 7 pages) both dated 12/13/1972 and sent to Ronald Berkheimer (Susquehanna University director or public information) with terrific content including his time at the university, lengthy 4-page letter dated 1/14/1979 in which Stagg Jr makes a case for his father's career wins total to be higher than recorded, and 1-page letter dated 5/4/1981 in which he explains why he is unable to attend an event. Signatures rate 7/8 to 9 out of 10: VG/EX-EX/MT
