Description:Babe Ruth home run attributed baseball c.1920s-30s (PR) Well worn and soiled baseball includes a letter of provenance which relays that it comes from the family of a gentleman who served as a "patrol guard" for the New York Yankees in the late 1920s and 1930s. The guard relayed that he was doing his duties in the outfield stands when Ruth hit the offered baseball and he retrieved and kept it. The ball shows wear and flaws far beyond what would be expected with normal use and it appears that it likely suffered from extreme moisture damage at some point: PR ($500-$750)
