Description: *Updated description* Display piece with Roger Clemens 20-strikeout full tickets from 1986 and 1996 (VG/EX). Highly interesting display piece includes original tickets from April 29, 1986 at Fenway Park and Sept. 18, 1996 at Tiger Stadium - games in which the Rocket performed the remarkable feat of striking out 20 batters in a game. The 1986 full ticket is removable from a top loader adhered to the posterboard, but unfortunately it appears the 1996 full ticket is adhered directly and back damage may result if removed. Also included are 1996 Boston Globe and Boston Herald newspapers featuring next-day coverage, with Clemens the only pitcher in MLB history to accomplish the feat twice. Tickets appear VG/EX (with note on 1996 ticket adhered).
This internet auction will close to initial bids at 10pm E.S.T on May 29, 2024. Bids may be placed at any time up until the closing and bidding will extend past 10pm E.S.T. on May 29 for 20 minute intervals per lot for each bid placed on a given lot.
