Description: "Greatest Action Picture Ever Taken In Baseball" - Ty Cobb steals third base, c.1935 print of 1909 image (with 1912 T202 Hassan card) (Photo VG, Card PR/FR) Vintage black and white 6"x8" photograph showing Ty Cobb stealing third base with stamped Ref. Dept. N.E.A. May 28 1935" on the back. Period paper caption affixed which notes that Cobb in shown in stealing third base in 1909. The image is considered to be on the greatest baseball action shots ever captured and even the caption, applied in 1935, states it is "considered the greatest action picture ever taken in baseball." It has been used in print countless times and served as the photo used in the center panel of the 1912 T202 Hassan Triple Folder card "Ty Cobb Steals Third" (an original example of that card is included, PR/FR with tape/stain on back).
