Description: Kennesaw M. Landis autographed 1939 Centennial stamp sheet with very rare inscription (EX-NM) Block of (9) original 1939 Centennial of Baseball stamps has been signed along the wide right edge border in fountain pen with a rare "Com of Baseball" (Commissioner of Baseball) inscription. Fountain pen signature rates 8/9 out of 10. It comes with the original letter, dated August 1939, that was written to Landis requesting the autograph. The letter has four mounting corners affixed in the bottom half which hold the stamp sheet in place (sheet can removed with no residual damage): EX-NM ($300-$500)Final Bid: $367.00
