Description: 1963 and 1970 Roberto Clemente presentational awards (GD-VG/EX see description). Includes June 1st 1963 dated plaque (16"x11") with engraved Spanish language text related to a womens organization: "Comite De Damas Federacion Ligas Hispanas A Roberto Clemente." There is mild general wear along with some spotting and a figural piece has broken off the support near bottom. Also includes a slightly smaller July 24th 1970 dated plaque engraved with Spanish language text translating (roughly) to read "To Roberto Clemente, in fair recognition of his exceptional work as a renowned baseball player and dynamic sportsman and tireless Puerto Rican..." To the left is an affixed Rotary Club logo and a piece that was attached below has fallen off. This plaque has been split down the center. There is scattered wear and discoloration/soiling to both pieces. Includes certificate of provenance from the Clemente Family: GD-VG/EXFinal Bid: $171.00
