Description: Extremely rare 1963 Bill Russell playing days single signed basketball (Sig. NM, Ball EX) "Olympian" brand "Official+Scholastic" basketball has been signed "To Leonard, Best Wishes, Bill Russell 4/27/63." Black marker signature rates 9-9/10 out of 10. Ball itself remains in very nice condition given the age and still holds most of it's air although there is some loss. No mentionable wear aside from a small strip of residue on the side opposite signature. Russell was notorious for his refusal to sign autographs throughout his playing career and this is the first basketball dating to this period that we can recall seeing: Sig.
