Description: 1959 Ty Cobb handwritten letter in display with original illustration art (EX-NM) Framed display (14"x20") includes April 15, 1959 dated handwritten letter on "Tyrus R. Cobb" stationary. Content relates to an autograph request and Cobb being out of photos to send but offering suggestions on where one can be obtained. Signed "Sincerely Ty Cobb" with a postscript below that is initialed "T.R.C." Green fountain pen handwriting and signature rate 9-9/10 out of 10. The original mailing envelope is included. Also within the frame are a pair of original vintage pieces of illustration artwork with (1) dated 1962 as used in a "This Day In Sports" column.
