Description: "National League" oversized baseball decorative cigar box, c.1880s (GD). Wooden cigar box measures approx. 17.5" long, with a decorative label on the interior of the lid. Exterior of box has "National League" impressed lettering to several panels and the lid, along with end panel displaying a smaller version of the paper label. Retains portion of its 1883 tax stampings, and shows normal age/handling wear with cracking: GD
