Description: 1987-88 Larry Bird Boston Celtics professional model road jersey - Philadelphia 76ers Equipment Manager LOA (EX) Classic green pull over jersey has "Celtics" team name across the front with number "33" below. The number also appears on back below the name, "Bird." On the left front tail are Sand-Knit "Designed & Tailored Exclusively" and size "46" tags. Alongside are embroidered year "87" and "2" LB" custom hem tags. Light age and a touch of possible useage/wash wear along with some small spots of residue which are the result of prior mounting. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and additional signed by Philadelphia 76ers Equipment Manager Jeff Millman (on team stationary) relaying that it was obtained in trade for a Charles Barkley jersey: EX ($4,000-$6,000) NOTE: Based on several requests we are posting a few images of the small adhesive residue spots on the jersey. Based on previous experience with similar adhesive residues it is our belief that these can in fact be professionally removed if so desired. They are limited to the perimeter of the jersey from mounting within a frame.Final Bid: $4,078.00
