Description: 1941 Johnny Pesky signed contract and Louisville Colonels related material (Range VG-EX/MT) Includes Uniform Player's contract as executed between Johnny Pesky and the Louisville Colonels for the 1941 season. Signed inside by both Pesky and the team President in fountain pen rating 8 out of 10. Typical fold lines from mailing/storage and some other very light wear. Comes with original Colonels envelope which has the 1939 baseball Centennial logo printed on; heavy stock 7.5" square card on which an image of Johnny Pesky has been affixed at top with other cut out text added below. Signed within lower portion by a number of individuals whom likely worked at the Louisville tax recievers office. Includes what may be the original mailing envelope; (3) 1941 Colonels pocket schedules; (2) 1941 Louisville Colonels Oertel Brewing team photo premiums; (2) 1941 Colonels Spring Training rosters; 1941 Colonels scorecard with Tom Yawkey pictured on cover (cover and first few inside pages have tear); and small sepia toned photo of Pesky as taken in the period.
