Description: Interesting lot of material from the Carneal collection incl. auto balls and some vintage pieces (Range GD-NM) Includes Rawlings L.MacPhail OAL ball which has "1981" written on and is likely from an Old-Timers Day with many members of the 1965 Twins. Total of (30) sigs. incl. Calvin Griffith, Harmon Killebrew, Tony Oliva, Camilo Pascual, Zoilo Versalles, Jim Perry, Bob Allison, and others. One is personalized. All done in ink rating 6/7-7 out of 10, ball has some mild toning; Rawlings L.MacPhail OAL ball which is labeled "25th Reunion 1985" on sweetspot and is presumably from an event which brought together members of the Inaugural 1961 Twins team. Total of (35) sigs. Incl. Ozark, Pascual, Goryl, Smalley, and others. Ink signatures rate 8 out of 10, ball has some light toning; Spalding L.MacPhail OAL ball signed by Whitey Herzog, and (4) others. Ink sigs rate 6-6/7 out of 10, ball is just off white; 1979 Yankees team signed Rawlings L.MacPhail OAL ball signed by (28) incl. Lemon, Berra, Tiant, and others. Munson is clubhouse and it is possible that an additional (1) or (2) signatures are as well. All done in ink rating 7-8 out of 10; Includes Reach J.Cronin OAL ball which has "$100" written in block letter on side panel. Ball is lightly toned with no meaningful wear; vintage "Official Glo-Bal" with NBC logo and Company President facsimile signature; 1963 American League Regulation guide book on which Carneal wrote his name and address. Spiral binding is largely gone and the book has some mild wear otherwise; "CBS Sports Radio" logo impressed leather foilio with unused vintage writing tablet inside; Herb Carneal signed 8"x10" photo (sig. 9/10, photo has some wrinkles); 1962 California Angels used/torn courtesy pass and April 22 Angels ticket stub; (2) 1969 First Day covers; Sept 16, 1960 Yankees Stadium Club game pass; several vintage telegrams as sent to Carneal along with some wire service news type sheets; and a few other pieces. Varying degrees of wear throughout. Includes letter of provenance from the Carneal Family: Range GD-NM
