Description: 1956 NCAA Championship program and ticket stub - Bill Russell and K.C. Jones lead University of San Francisco to their second consecutive title (see description) Original program and ticket stub issued for games played at McGaw Memorial Hall at Northwestern University. Participating teams are pictured inside with Bill Russell appearing three times (2 team pictures and 1 individual). Both were previously mounted within a scrapbook/album with resulting back damage. Stub has a strip of toning at top and bottom, some mild creasing, largely unobtrusive staple hole, and some paper loss/residue on back. Program cover displays some light spotting and a touch of wear with light vertical fold and paper clip mark at top. Back cover remains affixed to the scrapbook page backing which likely can not be removed. Interior is unscored and generally clean with touch of light wear to pages.
