Description: Nice lot of vintage pins covering a variety of subjects and incl. notables, red cross, and some other better pieces (38 pins + others) (Range GD-EX/MT) Interesting assortment includes large and ornate piece with pin backed metal bar at top that has "Chairlady" insert on front. Hanging from this is blue ribbon which has a metal shield mounted at center featuring an image of a horse on celluloid and reads, "Friendship Uniform Assn. Our Doll." Hanging below is a charm in the form of small binocular; Charles Lindbergh photo pin with attached metal plane charm; additional Lindbergh pin showing him with a sled with text reading "Two Great Flyers Lucky Lindy And The Flexible"; yellow kid pin with High Admiral paper insert on back. He is shown with baseball bat and "...pitch fer New Yorks..." text (scuff/dent on front); Anthony Hamilton Celebrated Jockey Pepsin Gum pin; photographic pin with bust picture at center and text reading "Saunders Norvell He Does Things"; pin with image of what appears to be a Native American woman and the captioning "D. of P."; small pin reading I'm Working For That $1,000; (10) Red Cross related pins (incl. pins dated 1919, 20, 21, and 31); a small Salvation Army shield (not with a pin backing, has flaps for mounting); "Modern Health Crusader" pin; "National Volunteer Reserve" pin; pin which reads in full "We Want Work Wine and Beer - I Belong To The Rational America League - Do You?"; Ted Williams Boston Red Sox pin; United Brewery Workmen enameled pin with screw down back closure; and an assortment of other pins with the following text or slogans - Don+t Kick, I Am For Pennsylvania, Greencastle PA Old Home Week August 17-22 1908, Remember Rally Day, Rally Day I Was There, I Care Community Chest (no pin backing), CE Rally Feb. 7 1924, 500 Club, Help Save The Tower, ERMA (stickpin), Waynesboro Chautauqua July 13 to 19, Memorail U.B. SS, and I Did Hospital Fund. Also includes a 1934 "Bridge Token" and a small "Blue Label Tomato Ketchup" metal piece which may have been a pin with the back broken off.
