Description: Early c.1870s-80s baseball player cabinet photographs in period album - team of (14) players (13 in bib front uniforms) plus Manager and (3) "fans" (Cabinets avg. EX-EX/MT) Nice grouping consists of (14) players (all but one in bib front uniform), a young man noted as Manager, and (3) "fans." Each is identified on the album page into which his respective card is housed in period fountain pen. Cards all measure 4.25"x6.5" and those which have been removed to be inspected (small portion, all of which came out without damage done to card) are on mounts which are marked, "Hamilton....Peekskill, N.Y." Images themselves have some fading along with a touch of silvering/spotting while the mounts examined have light typical age wear. Album itself has general wear to exterior with the front cover separated and spine largely missing. Interior pages have toned and there are scattered tears: Cabinets avg.
