Description: Lot of (10) outstanding 16"x20" baseball related limited edition photographic prints incl. Ruth, Mathewson, Cobb, and Wagner (EX-NM) Selection of exceptional baseball photography, all printed in the 1990s in limited numbers (all are hand numbered from an edition of 975 with 1 exception as noted below) and bearing either "Francis P. Burke Collection" or "Diamond Images" raised sealed (Burke pieces have a 1992 Megacards stamp on back). Subjects incl. Babe Ruth pitching with the Red Sox; (2) Christy Mathewson with the New York Giants (both the same pose); Walter Johnson with Washington Senators; Babe Ruth at the 1934 World Series with Dizzy Dean, Frank Frisch, Mickey Cochrane, and Schoolboy Rowe; Athletics player crossing homeplate in game action vs. Chicago team; Ty Cobb sliding into homeplate; Honus Wagner at bat; 1913 New York Giants team photo (numbered out of 100); and 1928 New York Yankees team photo. Each is done on artists quality heavy stock and has the natural waviness that is inherent to work found on this type of photography paper.
