Description: Exceedingly rare Danny Murtaugh single signed baseball in incredible high grade condition (full JSA LOA) (NM) Spalding C.Feeney Official National League baseball has been signed on the sweetspot, "Danny Murtaugh" in blue ink rating 8 out of 10. Ball displays a hint of off white coloration and retains bold League stampings. Murtaugh spent (15) seasons as Manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates leading them to the postseason (5) times and a pair of World Series Championships in 1960 and 1971. He remains a beloved figure in the town which favors their sports heros and his number "40" was retired in 1977. A notorious non-signer Murtaugh left a wave of clubhouse and secreterial autographed material in the marketplace and his signature is far more uncommon than nearly any other prominent figure who spent so long a time involved in the game. We will state emphatically that this is the single nicest Murtaugh single signed baseball which has been offered in many years and it is likely that will remain the case for some time to come.
