Description: Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig autographed baseball c.1930s (Displays EX/MT-NM) Red and blue stitched Reach W.Harridge OAL baseball has been signed on the sweetspot, "Babe Ruth" with "Lou Gehrig" appearing on adjacent panel. Black fountain pen signatures rate 7 to 7/8 out of 10 and are situated so that both can be displayed at once. Faded signature (2-2/3 out of 10) of William "Bits" Bierhalter (relayed by our consignor as the original recipient)appears on the side panel. Bierhalter was then the Red Sox Clubhouse Manager following a career as player and umpire. Ball displays light even toning and retains unusually strong League stampings.
