Description: Very rare Dave Fultz single signed baseball (1903 New York Highlander) (d.1959) (Ball EX/MT, Sig. NM-MT) j.DeBeer & Sons brand "Energized League Ball" has been signed across the side panel, "David L. Fultz." Vintage blue fountain pen signature rates 8/9 out of 10. Ball displays moderate even toning and has period coat of shellac applied over signed area. Small handwritten notation in ink written by unknown individual near stampings reads "Yankees." Fultz played in the National League from 1898-1902 with the Philadelphia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles, and Philadelphia Athletics. In 1903 he joined the New York Highlanders whom had been accepted into the American League and was thus an Inaugural member of the team which would go on to become known as the New York Yankees.
