Description: 1940 Chicago Cubs team signed scrapbook pages with snapshot photographs and 1939 Cubs picture pack (VG-NM) Series of 7"x9.25" heavy paper stock black scrapbook pages having been signed (15) members of the 1940 Chicago Cubs with period black and white snapshots of each displayed above. Signers include Dizzy Dean, Gabby Hartnett, Phil Cavaretta, Clay Bryant, Al Todd, Larry Fritsch, Charles Root, Hank Leiber, Del Dallessandro, Jim Gleeson, Bobby Mattick, Bill Nicholson, Stan Hack, Claude Passeau, and Augie Galan. Autographs are done in white graphite offering fine contrast with black surface and rating 8 to 9/10 out of 10. Photos all have "Velox" and 1940 date stamps on back. Includes additional scrapbook page with (3) more photos taped on (unsigned); Picture pack is complete set of (25) subjects as printed on heavy stock incl.
