Description: Piedmont advertising poster and chair with double sided porcelain back c.1910s (Chair VG/EX, Porcelain portion EX/MT, Poster displays EX) Wooden folding chair displays use and surface wear throughout wooden portion however retains majority of original period stenciled on "Piedmont Cigarettes" titling on legs. Upright back has inset double sided porcelain sign reading, "Smoke Piedmont The Cigarette of Quality." Porcelain retains vivid blue background coloration with light wear and a few very minor chips. Chair appears to have been repaired at a few areas long ago. Large poster is presently displayed within custom cut mat with chipping at edges (mostly covered by mat - lower right corner with visible missing piece), a few surface scratches/gouges, and pair of small holes.
