Description: Very strong grouping of 1969 World Series related material including high grade program and full unused tickets to Games (3), (4), and (5) (Range VG-NM) Very nice grouping of material as relates to the New York Mets appearance in the 1969 World Series. Includes well preserved program which has NM appearance when view from the front and just a touch of light wear to back; three full unused tickets to all games played in New York including the Series clincher which brought the Mets their Franchise first World Series win. Game (3) which has just a "touch" to corners, nearly imperceptible area of surface stress at right edge (mentioned for extreme accuracy), a very small area of surface discoloration near Mr.Met, and hint of distress at perforated stub line. Games (4) and (5) remain connected with both having touch to each corner, very minor isolated edge wear, and Game (5) has very small area of surface discoloration. Both of these have a faint "2" impressed before the "6" where seat number did not fully print; 1969 World Series Diamond Club menu (EX with crease) and passes to all three home games (VG/EX-EX); period invitation with Mets logo printed on front welcoming the recipient to join in a pre-game cocktail hour/buffet; 1969 World Series Press Hospitality Room heavy paper stock pass (VG/EX-EX); and fold over paper program to November 1, 1969 dinner thrown in honor of Mets pitcher Jim McAndrew in his home town, signed on the front in marker rating 9 out of 10 (program VG-VG/EX): Range VG-NM ($1,000-$2,000)Final Bid: $706.00
