Description: 1979 Doug Bird Philadelphia Phillies professional model "Saturday Night Special" uniform (hat, jersey, and pants) (EX). Maroon colored ensemble as famously used by the team for Saturday Night games during the 1979 season. Zipper front jersey has player number "43" and team "P" logo on front. Number also appears on back below "Bird" nameplate. "Rawlings" manufacturers tag on front tail has the size "42" and adjacent "Set 1" and "2 Inch Extra Length" flag tags. Matching pants have similar Rawlings tag with size "34." Adjacent strip tag embroidered "34 26 79 1" with "Set 1 1979" flag tag.
