Description: 1884 Providence Base Ball Club photographic print. Early photographic print of the National League Champions posed on the field at Messer Street Grounds. Clarity and subject arrangement is nothing less then superb with amazing detail. Players include Sweeney, Bancroft, Carroll, and Hoss Radbourn. Radbourn had one of the more remarkable seasons in baseball history posting a record of 60 wins against just 12 losses with 441 strikeouts. Piece meaures 9 1/2"x13" matted and framed with only a few light age spots in the far right margin: EX-EX/MT
