Description: Scarce Satchell Paige Coca Cola cardboard advertising sign c.1953. Colorful 12"x15" cardboard sign picturing Paige in a St. Louis Browns uniform holding a bottle of Coke. Has a few area of surface staining, small crease at top edge, and a small abrasion at top rt. corner area but retains very strong display presence with bold original colors. African American endorsed advertising pieces are of extreme rarity given the social climate during that era and this is the first Satchell Paige related advertisement we've handled.
