Description: Fine Babe Ruth game used baseball bat c.1921-23. Lousville Slugger 125 model, 36” and oz. with bold early signature style stampings on barrell end. Handle has a slight crack which has been glued, bat retains a mellow brown patina with clean graining and bold stampings. Seldom offered style of Ruth bat made for only three years while using his earlier signature stamping. The obvious importance of Babe Ruth to this hobby need not be stated in this description, game used equipment or clothing from Ruth is the hallmark by which collections are judged and this piece will compliment the finest equipment or memorabilia collection.
