Description: Rare January 15,1896 Charles Comiskey autographed handwritten letter. One page folded handwritten letter was sent by Comiskey to Eddie Boyle with regard to playing for the St. Paul Saints. The content of the letter urges Boyle to accept Comiskey's contract offer. Nicely signed at the bottom, "Yours Truly Chas. Comiskey". The letter itself has some typical light to moderate soiling and two small tape repairs at the fold lines. Letter text and signature remain fairly bold ranging from 7-9 out of 10. Very rare 19th century exemplar of the "Old Roman". Includes LOA from JSA and letter of provenance from the Boyle family: Letter: VG-EX, Signature: NM
