Description: 1899 Ed Boyle Pittsburgh Allegheny's baseball contract. Rare original player's contract issued to Ed Boyle by the Pittsburgh Base Ball club for $1,800. The contract is signed on the interior by Pittsburgh President W.W. Kerr. The contract has some mailing fold lines and a few small edge tears to the joints. One of the earliest National League contracts that we have encountered. Includes letter of provenance from the Boyle family: VG
