Description: 1960 "Manly Arts Course" sports promotional set. Incredibly intact and complete hinged lid boxed promotional set features various photographic promotional materials as issued by the National Sports Council. The box itself includes a large photographic interior lid label picturing Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, and Whitey Ford. The set also includes numerous photographic brochures, record album, patches, certificates, and general ephemera relating to the program. Among the featured athletes are M.Mantle, J.Louis, D.Walker, and W.Pep. The majority of the set remains in original unused condition exhibiting only minor age wear. Exterior box lid has some moderate wear including a moisture stain and an abrasion to the hinged lid joint. Excellent breakdown value with a total of five Mantle endorsed individual pieces: Range VG/EX-NM
